Veda Welsh, 85, of Langdon, ND passed away November 25, 2007 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.
Veda Bessie Evans was born December 21, 1921 at Langdon, ND to Bert and Ethel (Roney) Evans. She grew up in Manilla Township. Veda was united in marriage to William Welsh in January, 1939. They farmed in Harvey Township and in their later years enjoyed wintering in Arizona. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Langdon.
Veda is survived by her children: Bev (Wayne) Robillard of Langdon, ND;
Linda Welsh (Walter Cardwell) of Seattle, WA; William ‘Judd’ (Salud) Welsh of Bensenville, IL; Victor (Maureen) Welsh of Lake Oswego, Oregon and Kurt Welsh of Fargo, ND, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters Lucille Wirt of Sioux Falls, SD; Norma (Gordon) Hanson of Minneapolis, MN; Vivian (Kenny) Johnson of East Moline, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers Marcus, Bob and Edward Evans.
SERVICES Friday November 30, 2007 at 10:30am at the United Methodist Church of Langdon, ND.
INTERMENT Harvey Center Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Heart Association the Cavalier county Memorial Hospital.
