Condolences:

Greg was not only a favorite cousin, but a special friend. I will never forget our school days together -- especially going to college together. Why is it we always lose touch with each other? Life is too sweet and too short. My prayers and thoughts will be with you and with him forever.

(I am sorry we will not be at the funeral--it is the boys' last day of school so we cannot miss; however, I will be there with you in prayers and thoughts.)

Kathy Hoffarth Krause

My heart goes out to you, Greg's family, who is now left without his physical presence. I work in the Hyslop building at UND and Greg always had a smile and a good word to share with me. We (my husband and I) also lived in the Columbia Heights as did Greg. Such a warm, shy, yet friendly person. I will miss him.

Lisa, I would like to share with you how proud Greg was of you and how he loved you so. He always spoke of you with love and regret that he could not see you more often.

Greg will truly be missed by many here at UND. I am glad that he and I crossed paths in this lifetime and I hope to see him again in the life everlasting as well. May God bless you with His peace in the days ahead.

Lisa, remember to speak often and well of Alexander's Grandpa as the loving spirit of Greg lives on in those of us who are still left here -- for the moment.....life here is but a breath in time.

Greg was always the one person you could count on to have a smile on his face. When he asked how you were doing, he really meant it and could tell when someone was happy, tired, sad or just needed a friendly nod. He touched the lives of many and will be missed.

Greg was a very nice guy. He was very friendly, always had a smile on his face and something nice to say every time I saw him at the Wellness Center. He will be missed. My prayers and condolences are with his family.

He was a great uncle to me and I wish I could've have said good bye and let him know how much I loved him and how much we all thought of him. He was always such a strong person and one that touched so many lives. That is something that we can now all hold dear and take great comfort in the fact of knowing that greg is now with his parents of whom he adored and we will also be with them one day.

And to my cousin Lisa I love you so much and you need to know that your dad loves you so much and will now not only be your dad but your very special guardian angel for you and your family that you have started. Keep him alive in your son teach him to be like your dad, kind to others, a good listener, and someone who will go the extra mile without complaint. And you will make your dad more proud than you could ever imagine. If it is even possible for him to be more proud of you than he already is.
