Ernest Agar Jr.
Ernest “Jr.” Agar

Ernest “Jr.” Agar, 77 , of Langdon, ND, passed away Saturday April 28, 2007 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.

Ernest Agar was born September 28, 1929 to Delia (Kiland) and Ernest Agar, Sr.  He attended school in Hay Township.  Gay Adell Ridley and Ernest were united in marriage on March 14, 1953 at Langdon, ND.  They made their home in Langdon where they raised their daughter Debbie and Jr. was employed at D and B Motors. He was a member of the Langdon Eagles Aerie #3454.

Ernest is survived by his daughter Debbie (Dean) Danielson of Centennial, CO, grandchildren DeAnn (Colin) Fine and Dylan Danielson, sisters Fern Spanier of Langdon, ND, Betty (Ronnie) Mikkelson, Langdon, ND and Joyce Hanson of Rapid City, SD, a brother, Warren Agar of Billings, MT, numerous nieces and nephews.

Ernest was preceded in death by his wife Gay, his parents and his brother Calvin.

VISITATION  will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 O ‘Clock on Tuesday, May 1 at the Brooks Funeral Home at Langdon, ND.

SERVICES  Wednesday May 2, 2007 at 2:00 O ‘Clock at the United Lutheran Church of Langdon, ND.

INTERMENT  Lebanon Cemetery, Langdon, ND

My prayers are with the family at this difficult time. I grew up in Langdon and I used to babysit for Gay and Junior when I was young. I was able to see Junior last summer when I returned for a 40th class reunion. They both have a special place in my heart.
