Elsie H. Schuppert

Elsie  Schuppert, 87, of Hatton, ND and formerly of Neche, Walhalla, Langdon and Grand Forks passed away March 24, 2008 at the Union Hospital of Mayville, ND

Elsie Huldena Wagner was born September 1, 1920 at Neche, ND to Michael and Minna (Schmidt) Wagner.  She grew up and attended country school near Neche and went on to help on the family farm.  Elsie was united in marriage to William Schuppert on November 15, 1946 at Neche.  They made their home in Neche, Walhalla and Langdon before moving to Grand Forks in 1990.  William passed away March 26, 1991. Elsie moved to Hatton Nursing Home in 2005, where she enjoyed playing bingo and having her family visit.  She loved to cook and spend time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Joyce Johnson of Langdon, ND; Shirley Konze of East Grand Forks, MN; Doris (Ronald) Ridley of Langdon, ND; Arthur (Marlene) Schuppert of Grand Forks, ND, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren,  a brother, Art (Virginia) Wagner of Neche, ND, sister Erna Stegman of Neche, ND and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Mark Terry Schuppert, sister Emma Tamke..

VISITATION will begin at 3pm Friday March 28, 2008 with a 7:00pm Prayer Service at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND.

SERVICES  Saturday March 29, 2008 at 2:00 O ‘Clock at the United Lutheran Church of Langdon, ND.

INTERMENT  Neche Lutheran Cemetery, Neche, ND
