Clarice Rollefstad, 77, Langdon, ND died Friday, October 27, 2006 at MeritCare, Fargo, ND.

Clarice Vollum was born to Chris and Gunda (Olson) Vollum on October 27, 1929 at Osnabrock, ND. She graduated from Osnabrock High School, attended Valley City State Teachers College and taught in several rural schools in Cavalier County, ND. Orville Rollefstad and Clarice were united in marriage November 5, 1955 in North Dovre Lutheran Church of rural Osnabrock, and they moved to a farm in West Hope Township.

Clarice was an officer for many years of the Women's Federation of Missions, treasurer of the Big Pembina Ladies Aide, member of Homemakers, Sons of Norway, Langdon Gideons and Christian Women.

She is survived by her husband Orville; several nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends, Kelly, Lou and Kelle Gratton. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents and brother Glenn Vollum.

Friends may call at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and for one hour at the church before the services. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be help Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church in Walhalla, ND. Burial will be in Big Pembina Cemetery, rural Langdon.
