John "Jack" Keaveny

John "Jack" Keaveny, 77, formerly of Wales and Langdon, ND, passed away May 21, 2010 at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.

John was born January 24, 1933 at Wales, ND to James and Clara (Berger) Keaveny.  He was raised and educated at Wales, ND.  John served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 in Korea.  Upon his Honorable Discharge he returned to the Wales area where he worked for the County until his retirement.

John is survived by his brother Lyle "Pat" ( Karen) Keaveny of East Grand Forks, MN, nieces Terri (Tim) Land of Grand Forks, ND and Patty (Dave) Holman of Coon Rapids, MN, sister-in-law Deloris Keaveny of Langdon, ND, and uncle Ray Keaveny of East Grand Forks, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: James, Therese and Lucille.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon with visitation for one hour before time of services at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery of Langdon.

You have our deepest sympathy in the loss of Jack. We visited him at Wheatland and thought he was really good, but that has been a while now.Just realize that he does not have to suffer now and will be missed. God bless him in his new surrounding and also you and any other relatives. We will be thinking of you.
