Cleo Crockett, 73, of Langdon, ND passed away Friday October 30, 2009 at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.

 

Born to Pearl Amble on September 23, 1936 at Fargo, ND, Cleo Rochell was adopted and raised by Ben Lawrence and Freda Geraldine (Heeter) Estenson.  She was raised and educated at Sarles, ND. 

 

Cleo was united in marriage to William Claude Crockett on April 10, 1954 at Sarles, ND.  They made their home on the Crockett family farm in the southeast corner of section 30 in Minto Township.  They became the parents of five children.  Cleo made their house a home.  She made countless mittens, hats and slippers.  Over the years she made many blankets and Afghans and she was a fantastic cook.

 

Cleo is survived by her husband Claude, Langdon, ND, children: Patricia (Allen)

Bachman of Langdon, ND; James Crockett of Langdon, ND; Darby (Mark) Kakela of

Langdon, ND; Robin (Gerald) Marcotte of Langdon, ND; Norma (Greg) Kuhn of Grand

Forks, ND, 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brothers Lawrence (Donna Marie) Estenson and Denns Ihlenfield.

 

 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sandra Hester.

 

 

SERVICES will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2:00 O ‘Clock at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon.

 

 

 

INTERMENT   Lebanon Cemetery of Langdon, ND
