Allen Scott, 84, of Osnabrock, ND passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center in Osnabrock, ND.
Allen Scott was born to Walter and Bertha (Konze) Scott on July 12, 1922 at Langdon, ND. He attended Loam School. Allen spent his entire life, with the exception of the last few years, living on the farm his grandfather homesteaded. The love of farming and raising cattle was his life. He also enjoyed visits with his relatives and good neighbors. Due to declining health, Allen moved to the Osnabrock Good Samaritan Center in August of 2004.
Allen is survived by his nieces and nephews: David Nickerson of Sarles, ND, Kenneth Nickerson of Cavalier, ND, Earl Nickerson of Lawton, ND, Lynette Perius of Langdon, ND, Daryle Nickerson of Park River, ND, Lorraine LaFrenz of Havelock, NC, Donald Scott Jr. of Thief River Falls, MN, Donna Mae Rux of Thief River Falls, MN, Viola Melvie of Viking MN, Ken Scott of AZ, Richard Scott of Thief River Falls, Raymond Scott of Thief River Falls, and Betty Brownlee of TX.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Donald, Sister Blanche Nickerson, nephews Leroy Nickerson and Dennis Nickerson, and niece Jeanette Nickerson.
Visitation will be held at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon at 2:00 on Sunday, May 17, 2009.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon at 3:00 on Sunday, May 17, 2009.
INTERMENT will take place at Harvey Center Cemetery, Rural Langdon, ND.
