Lyla, Alan, Nancy and Family: It's so hard to lose someone who has been such a warm and wonderful presence. I remember Roy's quiet sense of humor. He was truly a warm and caring person. Dad was so proud to be his brother. I'm praying that God holds you tight and provides you with peace and comfort.

Take Care...Love, Lori and Family

Roy was a special man. I vividly remember all the great times we had golfing and playing in your back yard. Having lived across the street we enjoyed many hours at the Herrud residence. I truely believe Roy is teeing off as we speak. Alan your dad was a great man.

The Angel of Life winds our personnel clocks and the tell tale time is up to Him and it happens to all, then He closes the case, and gives the key into the hand of the Angel of the Resurrection.
Roy's personnel clock has struck his last hour but what a beautiful tune it has played all these years..
A chime we will remember for a long time.

Sending my condolences on your loss of a "good guy" - while on a visit back home several years ago, my glasses broke...Roy delayed leaving for a long-awaited fishing trip to hunt down a welder so he could make the repairs! To top it off, he refused to accept payment - I have never forgotten that kind gesture. I pray you all find comfort in knowing others share your loss.
