Born in Mobridge, South Dakota on June 27, 1968 to Alfred and Mary Biegler, Rhonda is the 10th of 13 children.  She was an excellent student and athlete; she graduated valedictorian of her class at Timber Lake High School.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1990 from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, South Dakota.

After college, she went on to work for Amoco in Chocolate Bayou and Corsicana, TX.  She married Paul David Nickerson in 1995 and moved to Lansing, MI.  Rhonda had an adventurous spirit and embraced the opportunity to travel and experience life in many places including overseas in Europe.  She lived with her family in Texas, Michigan, Florida, England, North Dakota, Ireland, Germany and Wisconsin.  In recent years Rhonda was an entrepreneur and ran her own businesses.

Wherever Rhonda lived, she had a passion to make the world around her a better place.  Her tireless efforts were focused on leading volunteer community projects with her family.  In all her travels, Sarles, ND was Rhonda’s favorite place to live.  She loved the people, lifestyle, gardening, safety and opportunity to raise her four boys in this small town.

Dear Family and all saddened by this death,

I wanted to express my deepest sympathy and concern for you and also share with you the wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. As you grieve Rhonda's death, please reflect on the hope in question, which comes from Jehovah God. By means of the Bible, He allows us to understand how He'll eliminate death for good one day and bring our dead loved ones back to life. This is evident in Scriptures like (Isaiah25:8); (John 5:28);, (1Corinthians 15:26); (Revelation 21:3 and 4), which can comfort you in this time of sorrow. God's promises are guaranteed because He can’t lie. Moreover, Jesus, whom God appoints to bring the dead back to life, can do it since he did it when he resurrected Lazarus and several others when he was on earth. So as you await Rhonda’s resurrection, please heed Jesus' counsel in John 17 verse 3 and take steps to gain accurate knowledge of Jehovah God and Jesus by carefully studying the Bible with the Witnesses. In fact, in John 5 verse 39, Jesus explains that s!

uch study is imperative for anyone, who wishes to have everlasting life one day here on earth, which will become a paradise, where you can be reunited with Rhonda again in a world free of violence, war, sickness, old age, even death etc... as stated in the following Scriptures: (Psalms 37: 9-11 and 29),(Psalms 46: 8 and 9), (Isaiah 33:24), (Job 33:25).
