Madeline Rohde, 86, of Langdon, ND, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.

Madeline was born in Dresden, ND, on July 26, 1925 to Charles J. and Mary (Berger) Machacek. She married Raymond Timian on October 15, 1946. They later moved to and lived in Minnesota where they raised their family. In 1976, she moved back to Langdon after Raymond’s death.

Madeline was very active in the community and in her church. She married George Rohde of Langdon on July 7, 1981. 

Madeline is survived by five children: Margaret (Darrell) Happel of Plymouth, MN, David (Cindy) Timian of Seadrift, TX, Kathleen Meyer of Blaine, MN, Susan (Greg) Stanke of Webster, MN and James (Cindy) Timian of Daleville, AL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary (Tom) Mann, Florence Davidson, Theresa Jurek, Lucille Domres; brothers: Charles (Elaine) Machacek, James (Marsha) Machacek; sister-in-law: Betsy Machacek; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands: Raymond and George; brother: Donald; and sister: Lorraine.

 

VISITATION will begin at 2:00 pm with a 5:00 pm prayer service on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND.

 

SERVICES will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at 2:00pm at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon.

 

INTERMENT  Calvary Cemetery, Langdon, ND.
