Lyle Lynn Christianson, 49, of Minot, ND and formerly of Langdon, ND passed away on Tuesday, December 14 at Trinity Hospital from medical complications.
Lyle was born January 17, 1961 in Langdon, ND to Melvin and Lois Christianson. Lyle was employed by Darrell Schrader Construction of Langdon, Ernie’s Construction of Minot, and most recently, Mac Construction until his recent illness.
Lyle is survived by children: Kristy Feist (fiancé Harold Kolobakken), Sarah Christianson, and Joshua Christianson (fiancé Steff Ell); grandson Tyler Kolobakken; mother of his children Debbie Feist- all of Minot, ND; sisters: Sandra (Frank) Cerda of Dresser, WI, Sharon (Val) Thompson of Wyoming, MN, Laurie Glenz of Wheeling, WV, Cheryl (Joe) Henn of Marshall, MN, Darla (Dan Helland) Larson of Sheyenne, ND; brothers: Larry (Darlene), Lonnie (Sue) – both of Langdon, and Doug (Greta) of Fargo, ND; two godchildren, 31 nieces and nephews, and 22 great-nieces and nephews.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Lois Christianson, grandparents Mike and Laura Watne and Ole and Marie Christianson, brother-in-law Al Glenz, several uncles and an aunt, two nephews, and a niece.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16 at 2:00 at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND.
Visitation for Lyle will start at 5:00 with a prayer service at 7:00 on Wednesday, December 15 at Brooks Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Langdon in the Spring.
