Lorraine Mann, 87, of New Hope, MN and formerly of Nekoma, Grafton,
Devils Lake and Langdon, ND, passed away October 9, 2008.

Lorraine Nosbusch was born March 1, 1921, to Peter and Mary Nosbusch. Lorraine was united in marriage to Bernard Mann on June 23, 1942, in Munich, ND. They lived and farmed in the Nekoma area until 1969. They then moved to Grafton where she worked for the State School until her retirement in 1984. They then moved to Devils Lake for their retirement years. They moved to Wheatland Estates in Langdon, ND in 2003. She moved to Maple Manor in July, 2008, and to Saint Therese Care Center in August, 2008.

Lorraine is survived by children:

Don (Laurie) Mann of Shorewood, MN;
Keith (Arlene) Mann of Plymouth, MN;

Larry (Beth) Mann of Lake Elmo, MN;

Jerry Mann of Grass Valley, CA;

Margaret (Dale) Johnson of Grass Valley, CA,

eight grandchildren: Jade Mann; Eric Mann; Kara Hendrickson; Michelle
Sonterre; Kevin Mann; Molly Mann; Erin Johnson; Daniel Johnson,

five great-grandchildren: Evan and Emily Hendrickson; Logan and Alexa Mann; Wyatt Sonterre; brother Ralph Nosbusch;

brother and sisters-in-law Tom and Mary Mann , Lorraine Ballweg, Cecelia Bimler, Lorraine Rudow and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, and
daughter Mary Ellen.

Alphonsus Church in Langdon, ND

INTERMENT St. Edward’s Cemetery, Nekoma, ND.
