Some look upon winter as a bad season's end. It is! But, after the end, comes life. The new springtime. The new season. One should look for it to come. So should we in life. I am sure Larry is happy in the new season he is now in. You have my deepest sympathy.

I am so very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I have fond memories of playing with all of the older Schroeder Children and helping to baby-sit the younger ones... May Larry's soul rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Dorothy and all of your family...
Sincerely, Don and Connie Kilene
I have fond memories of my friend I grew up with. I will miss my neighborhood friend. We shared a friendship for many years.

I am so sorry for your loss of son and brother, Larry. I remember him being so good to us little kids, taking us to the Dairy Queen in the back of the furniture truck on hot summer evenings. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

"Life is not promised to us, Eternity is".. Praying for you as you go on in your journeys of life without Larry. He was a interesting person and I have fond memories of many summer days being carefree doing what neighbor kids do.. Blessed be the memory of Larry.

We got to know Larry at our Devils Lake lakehome (formerly Kaluzniak's lakehome). He was very special to our family, as we shared so many fun times with him - fishing, hunting and just visiting. He would always have us over for breakfast and serve Langdon sausage, and he made sure our Basset Hound (Gretel) got a piece too. If he got to the lake before we did, our yard would be mowed. If we were working on a project, he was always there to lend a hand. When we hosted our daughter's wedding reception at the lake, Larry was right there to help with EVERYTHING and even opened his house to serve the meal out of and provide lodging for the band members. He was so much a part of our family when we were there. Although we had not had contact with Larry over the last few years (since we lost the cabin to the flood), we still have many fond of memories of many good times with him.

I am sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I am very grateful for all the hunting, trapping and fishing trips that Larry took us young kids on. He taught me a lot about the outdoors, and I am teaching my sons the things he taught me, except I won't show my sons how to eat leopard frog legs like Larry taught us. I am sorry your loss.

Peggy, Rick & Family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your brother, Larry. He will be missed by so many that knew him. He made many deliveries out to our farm when my parents lived here and then us. Will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I was sorry to here of the passing of Larry. I rememember when Randy, Larry and I would go fishing on Devils Lake back in the day. I have 8mm movies of those days. We would also go out to his mobile home West of Langdon and shoot that crazy black powder rifle he had. Larry would always load my turn with an extra amount of gun power. He was always nice to me. Take care of yourselves and I might see you in Langdon one of these days.

My deepest condolences to Dorothy and all of the Schroeder family. Larry was always kind to the LaQuas and all the kids in the neighborhood, although we gave him many reasons not to be. Images of golden autumn, russet brown rushes, Mallards and Canadian geese landing in the many coulees and ponds throughout Cavalier County were given to me, in my youth, because of the kindness of Larry behind the wheel of a Schroeder furniture truck. Many of those images will remain with me for the rest of my life. God Bless dear Larry.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Larry was like another older brother to me. I have many great memories of fishing and hunting with him and the rest of the Schroeder family. I also recall many wild rides to the Dairy Land with Larry behind the wheel of the delivery truck and me and the rest of the neighborhood kids bouncing in the back of it clutching our dimes for dear life! His kind soul and dry wit will be greatly missed.
