Dear Rueger Family,

My deepest sympathies are with you all.  I took care of KateLynn a number of times during her stays at the MeritCare Children's Hospital, and she was such a sweet little girl.  I also remember what a wonderful, supportive family who was there by her side.  May she rest in peace in the arms of God.

Gary and Kathy Badding

Kathy, Dean, Brennen, and Rylan,

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I know KateLynn doesn’t have to suffer anymore. That is a blessing and to know she is with God in Heaven. Still, it’s a loss, and she will be so missed!

When I think of the four years I had KateLynn as my student in Grand Forks, I think of those years as some of the best years I’ve had in my teaching career. I so enjoyed working with KateLynn. She taught me so much!  She was such a delight to be with each day.  KateLynn had such an “easy-going” spirit about her and such patience (it seemed) with the people who worked with her. I have very fond memories of her that I will never forget.  I can still see her “sweet” smile and can still hear her giggles.

It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you I won’t be able to give my sympathy in person to you. I will be thinking of KateLynn and you Saturday morning.  KateLynn will always have a “special” place in my heart. You will all be in my prayers at this very difficult time.  GOD BLESS!  (KateLynn, good -bye my “little angel.” I will see you again someday.)

 Lori Jensen

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of need.  I really enjoyed working with KateLynn.  She always knew how to make people laugh and smile.  Her smile would brighten any person's day.

Dean, Kathy and family,

I feel so blessed to be able to have been able to know and care for Katelynn for 5 years.  She was an amazing little girl and her obituary definitely describes her well.  My favorite...the giggles, and tickles, her laughter...such a gift from God.  Also, eating cheese puffs:), and snuggling her...such fond memories. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. Know that every moment was cherished. I was happy to read that her grandpa will have 'his little fella' back...in heaven.

Thinking of you,

Tania Christiansen

Dear Dean, Kathy and family,

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you at this sad time. KateLynn was a reminder on earth of the angels in heaven, now she can play freely with them. I loved how you could hear it in the halls on Peds when she was happy. It was an honor to take care of her.

God Bless you all,

Wanda Krom
