Daniel Webster once said, "Let us never forget that the cultivation of the earth is the most important labor of man. When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of civilization."
So it was with Joe..He was a hard working farmer who loved is farm and animals and his family..and without people like Joe my work as an artist would not be around..I salute Joe for who and what he was and I greatly admired him for his own giving qualities to the community.
And now his end is hear
his hand has faced the final curtain,
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state your case of which I'm certain.
You have lived a life that's full, you traveled each and every road and more, much more than this, You did it your way.
My deepest sympathy

My deepest sympathy to the Hoffarth family. I remember visiting with Joey & Dolores at Grandma Tillie's house. Joey always had time to visit. I will not be able to make it for the funeral, but will be keeping your family in my prayers.

uncle joie was not only my uncle, but godfather. we had some wonderful chats. almost everytime i saw him, he would make this comment, "you know char, when you were baptized, it was so darn cold and about 20 below. it was just freezing out and the wind blowing!" he always made me laugh and will miss him deeply. God Bless you all!
