Helen Wilhelmi, 92, of Langdon, ND, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Maple Manor Care Center.
Helen Dorothy Sullivan was born January 11, 1918 at Loma, ND to Peter and Maude Sullivan. She was raised and educated in the Loma area. Helen was united in marriage to Ralph F. Wilhelmi on August 18, 1937 at Nekoma, ND. They lived and farmed in the Loma area. They moved into Langdon in 1972 and retired from farming in 1978. They were members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Loma and later the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon. Helen was active in the Altar Society. She enjoyed time spent with family playing cards.
Helen is survived by her children Richard (Doris) Wilhelmi of Blue Earth, MN; Kathy (Tim) Twete of Devils Lake, ND; son-in-law Ken Fischer of Park River, ND, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Pat Fischer, son Frank who died in infancy, siblings Roy (Mae) Sullivan, Betty (John) Wilhelmi and Robert Sullivan.
VISITATION will begin at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service and Rosary at the Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, January 6, 2011.
SERVICES will be Friday, January 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND.
INTERMENT St. Edward’s Catholic Cemetery, Nekoma, ND.
