Condolences:

Oh, the many memories of your parents.  May they rest in peace with each other.

John had the good fortune to work with your mother at the Langdon swimming pool for many years.  We shared some great times together.  The memories will sustain you. We send our love and sympathy to all of you Susan and Barb and your families.

John and Joann Lawrence

Our thoughts and prayers to your family.  Know that Mrs. Osmon (my first grade teacher) had a very positive impact on me.  I always appreciated her (and Wally) for many years after I left her classroom.  She was a blessing in my world.

Al Roder

My deepest sympathies to the family of Mrs. Osmon.  I will always remember her smiling face and kind words.  She was the best first grade teacher a kid could wish for and the Langdon swimming pool just wouldn't have been the same without her.  She touched many young lives and will be remembered fondly.

Monte Schlittenhard

Our prayers are with you and your family as you mourn this week.  Mrs. Osmon is such a beloved person in the United Lutheran congregation, and we will look forward to being able to remember and rejoice with you next spring.  May Christ give you His peace in this time.

Pastor Bob Bekkerus

Dear Susan, Barb and all the family:  My sympathy to each of you.  Both your parents and grandparents were so special to many people here and will long be remembered.  You are in our hearts and our prayers.

Love, Rita Maisel

On behalf of the LaQua family- Susan, Barb and your families, please accept our sincere condolences and sympathy.  Being a close neighbor of the Langdon pool, we had the privilege of enjoying Helen's company, perhaps more than most.  She was a gracious, kind, and patient teacher.  We all loved her.  Our hearts go out to you in this time of profound loss.

Keith LaQua

My sympathy goes to the Osmon family. I student taught under Helen's supervision.  I could hardly keep up with her energy!  Years later, my daughter had her for her 1st grade teacher.  She's now in college and is saddened of the news.  Both Hellen and Wally were such great people in our community!  They will be missed but smiles are had by all when remembering them.

Lisa Schuler

Barbara and Susan,

We send our love and sympathy to you and your families. Your parents were the best ambassodors for Langdon, ND ever. They touched so many lives and were a part of building "Good Character" in all of us. We are blessed and grateful for having them as role models, teachers, mentors, and friends. The Gendreau Families

Dear Susan and Barb and families,

We extend our sincere sympathy on the passings of both of your parents.  All the special people in our neighborhood like your wonderful folks, our beloved Betty and Joe, and our own treasured Dad are watching us from heaven. Tom and I both had your dad as our counselor in high school and your mom taught us as well as most of Langdon how to swim.

You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Eileen, Tom, and Kathy Nelson

Sending sympathies again...how sad that you have had to say farewell to both parents this year; quite a burden on the heart.  I know your mom will be terribly missed by many, as well.

LaVonne (Fischer) Malone

SUSAN &BARB,

I AM SO SAD TO HEAR OF YOUR MOM'S PASSING. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU.  YOUR PARENTS WERE ONE OF A KIND. THEY ARE THE PART OF LANGDON I MISS AS THEY WERE WHAT A GREAT COMMUNITY IS.

BOB PUNG

A gentle wind blew cross the land reaching out to take a hand for on the winds the angels came calling out your mother's name.

 Left behind, the children's tears

Loving memories of the years

Of joy and love, a life well spent

And now to God a mother's sent.

On angel's wings, a heavenly flight

The journey home, towards the light

To those who weep, a life is gone

But in God's love, 'tis but the dawn.

Helen's dawn will surely be blessed.. to the family and friends of Helen - my deepest sympathy.

John Bergman

Helen (Mrs. Osmon to most of us)will be remembered as such a good teacher and manager of the swimming pool in Langdon.  She was such a high-energy lady and a good role model for many.  Memories of Helen will be treasured in my heart.  Susan and B.J. may you find peace and comfort as God holds you in His loving arms.

Love,

Mary Ann (Koukol) Kern

Susy - Sorry to hear about your mom and dad. They were both very nice people. I can still see your mom walking all around town. Very friendly people. They will both be missed greatly by the community and what they did.

Take care,

Harvey Metzger

Osmon Family: She was a special lady. Diane had her for a swimming instructor - she made the water fun and feel safe. She had our son in first grade and never mattered how old he became she always new his name and wanted to know how he was. She had more energy than 5 children. She will be missed.
