Harvey Edward Beauchamp, 83, of Osnabrock, ND, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Center of Osnabrock, ND.
Harvey Edward Beauchamp was born on December 27, 1926, to Aristide and Cordelia (Gendreau) Beauchamp at North Olga Township, Cavalier County. He attended school in Olga, ND and worked for area farmers. He lived at home until his marriage to Margie LaPorte December 27, 1962. They lived in different communities while he worked in road construction. In 1968, they bought a home in Osnabrock, ND where he lived until his death. Harvey also worked for Art Monson and Sons until failing health forced him to retire. Harvey enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, playing cards, doing crafts, visiting with the residents and staff at the nursing home and selling chances for different organizations. Harvey was a member of the Knights of Pythias.
His wife Margie survives him, as do brothers: Hector (Charlotte); Rolland (Lorraine); Eugene (Ruth); Remi (Betty), sister: Lorraine (Orlo) Mostad, brothers-in-law: Daryle (Alverna) LaPorte; Laverne (Pat) LaPorte; Merlin LaPorte; Gary LaPorte, sisters-in-law: Judy, Karen and Marlene LaPorte, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Omer and Richard, sisters Jeanette Lepire, Doris Marcelin, Marcella Belanus and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Orphela Lepire, Oscar Marcelin, Barry Belanus, Ronnie LaPorte, Leslie LaPorte, Larry LaPorte, Kenny LaPorte, Rita Beauchamp, Joyce Kirby, Shirley LaPorte, nieces Cindy Beauchamp and Barb Kirby, nephews Paul Belanus, Raymond Lepire and Camille Lepire.
VISITATION will be held Friday, October 15, 2010 beginning at 5pm with a 7pm Prayer Service all at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND. Visitation will also take place for one hour before the time of the services at the church on Saturday.
SERVICES will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 1:00pm at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Olga, ND.
