Condolences:

What a great Uncle "Shorty" Howatt was growing up!  From always taking time for us city kids at the farm, to quality time with Grandma Howatt, eating ginger snaps and sugar cookies at the counter on 9th street, he always had time for us.  One of my favorite memories was at in Medora with the Shriners watching him try to get up on the bunk bed in the motor home after one to many beverages.  I will miss Uncle Floyd but I know he's got some farming and gardening to do for God in Heaven, and I know Grandma Howatt had some cookies waiting!

Doug Sturlaugson

Sending our sympathy to all the Howatt family on Floyd's death.  We always enjoyed his pleasant ways and grin. Hoping you find comfort in many good memories.  John and Jo

To the family of Shorty. He was a great community man for the Maida community with love for the land and the people of whom he touched. Always up beat and willing to help out to anyone in time of need. My prayers go out to all of you during this sad time May his spirit be with you this christmas tide. God Bless Joe LaPorte
