Donald "Tiny" Dosmann

Donald “Tiny” Dosmann, 71, of Langdon, ND, passed away July 5, 2011 at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital of Langdon, ND.

Donald was born September 11, 1939 to Leo and Marcella (Zettel) Dosmann at Mt. Carmel, ND.  Tiny graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in Langdon.  He went on to bartend in the area for many years until poor health forced his retirement.  Over the years, Tiny enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cribbage and pinochle.  He was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Langdon Eagles Aerie #3454.

Tiny is survived by his siblings:  Jerome (LaRue) Dosmann of Langdon, ND, Irma (Russ) Shablow of Austin, TX, Vern (Lori) Dosmann of Ft. Collins, CO, Marilyn (Roger) Gette of Irving, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Marcella, and numerous aunts and uncles.

SERVICES will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:30am at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND.

INTERMENT:  Calvary Cemetery, Langdon, ND

Condolences:

My sympathy goes out to the Dosmann family.  Tiny was a great patron of the Langdon Eagles Aerie 3454.  Those whom he played cards with will miss him greatly.  Rest in Peace, Tiny.     Dennis Throndset

So sorry to hear of Tiny's passing; he was a pretty good guy.  Still have a picture of him as "Santa's Little Helper" when he came down to the folks with Lyle Schneider (Santa,of course!).  He dwarfed the hard hat he wore, but...it's a nice photo and memory!
