Donald Arens, 45, of Langdon, ND, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Donald was born May 6, 1966 to Jake and Florence (Sheltrau) Arens at Langdon, ND. He grew up on the family farm near Langdon. Donald received his education in Devils Lake, ND and then returned to Langdon to make his home with his parents. From 2000 to 2010 Donald lived in a group home with special brothers Mike and Charlie. Donald moved to Maple Manor Care Center in 2010.
Donald is survived by his brothers and sisters: Ray (Chelta) Arens of Blackfoot, ID, Kenneth (Deb) Arens of Rugby, ND, Janet (Dan) Harrington of Alsen, ND, Betty Anderson of Solway, MN, Ritchie Arens of Langdon, ND, Dale (Renee) Arens of Grand Forks, ND, Judy (Kenny) Del Real of Northland, CO, Doris (Tom) Lill of Alsen, ND; 31 nieces and nephews; and many great- nieces and nephews.
VISITATION will begin at 5pm with a 7pm Prayer Service on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Emmanuel Evangelical Church of Langdon, ND.
SERVICES will be on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at 2:00pm at Emmanuel Evangelical of Langdon.
